Handbrake Settings For Plex Chromecast 1080p: Best Practices for Encoding and Compression



This has been posted many times I am sure, but wanted to see if anyone has a guide of resource of best settings for MKV files to be converted for plex viewing and limiting the server usage. I read that H264 1080p can be the best for 1080p viewing with no need for transcoding. I am wounding if it is worth using H265 instead and if I add conversion of audio to stereo will that help reduce CPU transcoding on PLEX server.
